In addition to the sandwiches, there were donations of many other items such as
staple foodstuffs, fruit, clothing, baby products toys, books etc...
From the 3 463 sandwiches, 1 100 went to a school called Thabotona Primary
School and the rest (2 363) we joined with Dainfern Golf Estate to distribute at the
Thabo Mbeki Informal Settlement.
I am very pleased to inform you that from this challenge a couple more residents
have come forward to offer to sponsor the bread again for a few more sandwich
challenges.

So hopefully for the next month at least we will be able to donate approximately
3 400 sandwiches a week. Already I've got a list of volunteers rearing to start
making sandwiches again.
The DV community has been amazing and I wish to say a huge THANK YOU for all
the love and support for those less privileged.
